The Lethal Opening Sequence couch gag is the third couch gag of Season 10.
Plot[]
Instead of the Simpsons running into the living room and sitting down on the couch (since they all died in the driveway scene), Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees are already on the couch. An impatient Krueger asks where they are, but Voorhees shrugs it off and turns on the TV to watch anyway.

- This is one in a handful of couch gags where the family doesn't appear on the couch, joining the one on Simpsoncalifragilisticexpiala(Annoyed Grunt)cious where the family is locked out of the house and the one on "Homer's Phobia" where an unseen computer user tries to download the family on America Onlink, but the download speed is too slow and tries to cancel it.
