Synopsis[]
An episode of The Simpsons where Bart and Lisa join a kids' scout troop that just went co-ed gets interrupted by a pair of Internet hackers who hold the show hostage in exchange for Bitcoins by showing "show-ruining" clips.
Plot[]
The Simpson family (minus Bart and Lisa) is eating lunch. Bart walks in from the living room, excitedly announcing that he can't wait to attend the Scout Jamboree over the weekend. After Bart asks Homer for something, Homer hands him "Old Blowy," a trumpet. Bart blows into it, producing a terrible note. Moments later, Lisa enters, playing a fanfare on a flugelhorn.
Bart looks confused and questions why Lisa is involved since the Scout Jamboree is for boys. Lisa proudly explains that she joined anyway and shows off three badges she's earned: environmentalism, badge-receiving, and sibling rivalry.
The scene abruptly cuts to a male voice addressing corporate entities like Disney and FOX, referring to himself and his partner as "Pseudo-Nonymous", who are an "anarchist collective of nameless hacktivists." A female voice follows, claiming they've hacked Disney's servers and uncovered hundreds of hours of unseen Simpsons footage that will "destroy the I.P." The hackers demand $20 million in Bitcoin and threaten to broadcast these "show-destroying" scenes until their demands are met.
The Truth about Lenny[]
At Moe's Tavern, Carl is sitting with Homer and Lenny. Carl makes an outrageous claim, prompting Homer to respond, "There never was a Lenny." This leads Carl to a shocking realization: Lenny is just a figment of his imagination, created to help him cope with deep trauma from discovering his previous best friend wasn't real. Struggling with this revelation, Carl soon conjures up a new imaginary friend named Steven.
Don't Have a Prediction, Man[]
The Simpson family appears in their 1989 debut episode, "Simpsons Roasting on an Open Fire", during the scene where the family is introduced to Santa's Little Helper. Suddenly, a 30-year-old Bart spawns in the room.
After the family screams, Bart explains that he’s here to share some predictions from the future (as a homage to the serie' reputation for predicting real-world events). He lists several forecasts that include Bengt R. Holmström winning the 2016 Nobel Prize in Economics, Donald Trump becoming president, pandemics, gas hoarding, Germany beating Brazil 7-1 in the 2014 World Cup, and Disney buying FOX (followed by FOX being purchased by Panda Express, who seem to be taking everything over).
Yar, They Blow[]
A massive thunderstorm rages at sea, where a ship carrying Horatio McCallister and Groundskeeper Willie battles the waves. The Sea Captain only speaks with his trademark "Yarr," while Willie only responds with "Aye".
As the storm intensifies, Willie takes a swig from a bottle of alcohol, which he assumes is gin. The captain joins him. Suddenly, a lightning bolt strikes a barrel of gasoline, sparking a fire onboard. Willie scrambles to put it out but hilariously fumbles: he tries stomping on the flames in multiple spots, drops a fire extinguisher, and ultimately succeeds by accident.
Before they can celebrate, a massive wave engulfs the ship, destroying it and leaving the captain and Willie to their watery fate.
21 Chump Street[]
A school bus drops off Martin Prince at an address labeled 21 Chump Street. Cheerfully skipping home, his smile fades when he enters the house. He takes off his shirt and backpack, revealing that he is, in fact, a 36-year-old man.
A child runs up and hugs him, revealing that Martin works undercover at the school. His wife, Doreen, urges him to quit the assignment, but Martin explains that the police department needs someone to infiltrate the school, and he’s the only one who can pass for a 10-year-old.
Doreen questions if he can "pass for a good father" instead. The scene reveals that Martin’s real name is Reggie, and he suffers from a "shortening disorder." Reggie sits on the coach, thinking he is 'in too deep'. Doreen comforts Reggie by saying that he is a good role model for their kids, she then reveals that she is pregnant before the scene cuts back to the hackers.
Lisa learns French[]
A fire breaks out in Springfield, and Lisa calls 911, but she only speaks French. The operator asks if she can speak English, but Lisa explains that she’s taking a French class and is only allowed to speak the language for six weeks.
Meanwhile, a woman trapped in the burning building screams, "WE'RE TRAPPED!" Lisa does her best to ask for help in French, but fails.
Field Goal of Dreams[]
Homer, in the hope of bringing the ghosts from football heaven, mowed down a cornfield to make a football field. However, the field has 2 50-yard lines. So, it brought in Canadian football players, where they play poorly. Doug Flutie asks Homer if he can throw him a Hail Mary, to which Homer replies, "Shut up Flutie".
