Trivia[]
- Buying every vehicle in the game costs a total of 7,850 coins
- Buying only the vehicles required to beat the game costs a total of 2,250 coins
- Stat-wise, the Hearse could be considered the "Best" normally-obtainable vehicle. It has the most total stars at 16.5.
- Similarly, the Duff Truck could be considered the "Worst", having only 6 total stars.
- Willie's Tractor is the only car sold by someone other than Gil that is not required for a mission.
- Using the "Unlock all Cars" cheat after reaching 100% completion adds a secret to the phone booth. pressing a specific button while using the booth adds a number of cars that normally cannot be selected.
- This includes all traffic cars (standard and level-exclusive varieties), all secret cars, cars that are only used in missions, the Redbrick Car, and even cars that are in the game's coding but are never used anywhere else. The cars can be selected in any level, and are not limited to the levels they normally appear in.
- This is the only way the player can drive the Bonestorm Truck, Cell Phone Car A, Ferrini - Black, Milk Truck, Nonuplets Minivan, and the alternate Police Car.
- This is the only way the player even see Cell Phone Cars B, C, and D, Cube Van, Sedan B, Station Wagon, and the Ice Cream Truck, as they are not used anywhere else in the game.
- The only car in the game's code that this cheat does not unlock is the Audi TT, which is likely due to copyright concerns and the fact that it can crash the game.

The cars can be selected in any level, and are not limited to the levels they normally appear in.
- The Redbrick Car is pretty unique. It is impossible too see without cheats, but unlike the Cube Van, Ice Cream Truck, and extra Cell Phone Cars, it can appear with two cheats. In addition to the "Unlock all Cars" cheat, it also has it's own cheat code that makes it replace the secret cars in every level. It is widely believed that the Redbrick Car was used by the developers to help test the game.
- The alternate Police Car accessible through the "unlock all cars" cheat is virtually identical to the regular one. The only difference is that the normal Police Car is driven by Chief Wiggum, while the alternate one is driven by a generic officer.
- This is likely to prevent multiple Chief Wiggums from showing up during a Hit & Run, as that's where the alternate police car is used.
- The Audi TT only appears in the game's coding. If it is hacked in, the car crashes the game when you try and enter it. However, if you destroy the TT, you can drive it's husk to a wrench to fix it while you are already in the car. At this point it is fully functional and able to be driven like normal.
- It's purpose in the coding is unknown. It could have just been a test vehicle like the Redbrick Car, It could have been planned to be included but cut for legal reasons, or it could have been planned but the developers decided that having an actual, realistic car looked out of place.
- Because the Audi TT is already present within the game's code, it is one of the most common cars to be added to the game with mods. All that needs to be changed is the crashing issue when entering the car, and it's perfectly fine to implement the car into the game.
