This is a list of cars that appear in The Simpsons.
Pink Sedan[]
The Pink Sedan (or the Family Sedan) is one of two automobiles that belong to the Simpson family. It is a 1973 Plymouth Valiant, which is Homer's car, and he uses it almost exclusively, although Marge, Bart, Lisa and even Maggie have driven it at some point. The car features minor damage on the left front fender (which Homer has never had repaired), driver's side airbag, a column shiftier, a bent up radio aerial, and has a *Trackstar 8-Track radio. It was made in Croatia, out of old Soviet tanks, which might explain why parts of the car are crumpled.
Orange Station Wagon[]
The Orange Station Wagon (1973 Chevrolet Chevelle station wagon) is Marge Simpson's car, though it has been driven by Homer on occasion, and serves as the family's preferred vehicle when going on vacation due to the larger amount of space.
Moe's Sedan (Pontiac Bonneville)[]
Moe has a MK6 Pontiac Bonneville. The picture to the right is from an episode of the Simpsons ("Dumbbell Indemnity") in which Moe and Homer try to commit insurance fraud in order to collect $5,000 from Moe's automobile's insurance policy.
Homer's Plymouth Road Runner (70's Sports Car)[]
The '70s Sports Car is a 1970s sports car that was owned by Homer during high school in 1974. Homer owned the car for the remainder of the decade. In 1980, during "I Married Marge", Homer sold his sports car in order to raise needed capital to support his fledgling marriage to Marge and the new baby. The car contained unique gewgaws associated with the 1970s, such as a steering wheel made out of chain links. Homer removed a bumper sticker which read "DISCO SUCKS" before placing the sports car on the market. This was arguably done on the basis that bumper stickers, especially a vulgar one like that, would lower the car's resale value. After Homer's fortunes improved from getting a job at the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant, he presumably acquired a more modern vehicle, in this case the Pink Sedan he still uses today. Much like the Pink Sedan, the '70s Sports Car has a dent in the left-front fender.
Homer was once washing the car, but got distracted by Marge and it rolled down the street.[1]
Homer's Mr Plow[]
Mr. Plow is a plow truck that Homer bought, manufactured by Kumatsu Motors. It served him well in clearing his neighbor's yards and earning money for his Mr. Plow company, and was useful during an avalanche that trapped Barney Gumble, who opened up his own business rival, Plow King. However, it was repossessed soon after all the snow melted.
Barney's Plow King[]
The Plow King was Barney Gumble's plow truck which he bought to serve as a rival for Homer's plow. The truck is still being driven by Barney and he continues to plow snow around Springfield.
Homer, Marge and Krusty The Clown's Canyonero[]
The Canyonero is the trademark Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) in The Simpsons. It was endorsed by Krusty the Clown when it first appeared in The Last Temptation of Krust. It is a large red SUV and was introduced just as the SUV craze began to hit the United States. The design is basically a parody of the large SUV and the "I own an SUV, therefore, I own the road" style of driving. The theme song helps to demonstrate this. Homer buys a red Canyonero in Marge Simpson in: "Screaming Yellow Honkers", but soon realizes he bought the F-series. ("F" presumably means "Female") He refuses to drive it, not wanting to be seen as a homosexual; when Marge drives it, it sends her into a state of road rage. It is actually a parody of a Jeep Wagoneer, and while also have similarities to the Ford Excursion. It also worth noting the similiarities in exterior design between the Simpson family station wagon and the Canyonero, from the basic outline to the color. One might say that it is simply the Simpson's wagon on a truck frame and with an angled front fascia.
