Trivia

  • Nelson and Lisa hold hands, referring to the episode where Lisa dates Nelson. They also discuss the time they were dating.
    • It is heavily implied in the end that the two still have feelings for each other. This was also seen at the end of "Lisa's Date with Density", where they break up, but on good terms, and even smile at each other.
  • Facebook is shown for the first time, although it was previously mentioned in "Waverly Hills 9-0-2-1-D'oh" and "Bart Gets a "Z"", and "Coming to Homerica" in the Chalkboard Gag.
  • WALL-E's third appearance, the latest was "Stealing First Base" (during Itchy & Scratchy: "P.U.").
  • An object was previously referred to as a "conversation-starter" in "She Used to Be My Girl".
  • Ralph previously used childish objects as money in "Mr. Spritz Goes to Washington".
  • Lou went undercover in Fat Tony's mob (which Homer will do in another epsiode this season).
  • Wiggum accidentally exposes (or almost exposes) Lou as an undercover cop when Lou is at dinner with Fat Tony and the rest of the mob.

Goofs

  • Grampa already gave his inheritance to the Simpsons in Lisa vs. Malibu Stacy. But Grampa has a really bad memory so he probably forgot.

  • The Italian mob has a rule that you have to be Italain to join the mob. Either Fat Tony doesn't follow that rule or Lou lied and said he was part Italain when he joined as part of his undercover.
