Loch Ness is a lake in Inverness, Scotland and was home to the Loch Ness Monster. The name comes from the Scottish Gaelic language. Loch Ness literally translates to 'Lake Ness'.

Groundskeeper Willie alluded to the lake, and especially its more infamous inhabitant, when viewing a dating video created by Selma Bouvier, where he told her to go "back in the loch" while derisively calling her "Nessie" out of disgust for her physical appearance.[1]
Homer, Willie, Frink and Mr. Burns drain the water out of it in order to find the Loch Ness Monster to make Mr. Burns popular. They find it after draining all of the water.[2]
