M (stylized as m) is a more modern version of Moe's Tavern. After Moe returns from bartending school, he, along with Formico, transforms Moe's into M, an exclusive nightclub without Duff products. Homer, Lenny, Carl, and Barney form their own bar in Homer's garage after Moe treats them as customers instead of friends.
M turns out to be a failure when Moe finds out his upscale, snooty customers refuse to engage in conversation and get easily offended, even getting mad when Moe changes the TV channel to football. Moe goes to Homer's garage to try to woo Homer, Lenny, Carl, and Barney back to Moe's. After the episode ends, M is reverted back to Moe's Tavern.
