Mamma-at-Law! is a theme song sung by Grey DeLisle.
Description[]
When her son, Luigi Risotto, is arrested for smuggling diamonds inside his cheese and taken away by Chief Wiggum, Mamma Risotto attends Harvard Law School to become a lawyer. She swaps his apple for a meatball and then graduated.
Lyrics[]
- She was making antipasto with a chop, chop, chop-a
- When her baby boy was taken by the cop, cop, cop-a
- With-a-out her son, she knew her heart would-a stop-a
- Life had given her a sock in the jaw
- So she headed up to Harvard
- Where they have a law school-a
- Her homespun wisdom made
- The stuffed shirts drool-a
- Well, she no speak-a so good
- That's how she became
- Mamma-at-law.
Behind the Laughter[]
The theme is a parody of the theme of The Nanny, a TV sitcom starring Fran Drescher which originally aired from 1993 until 1999.
