Mandel Bruce "Mandy" Patinkin is an American actor whose career spans four decades. Patinkin has numerous credits in stage, screen, and television; and is also a tenor vocalist.
Patinkin's best-known movie role was as Inigo Montoya in The Princess Bride. More recently, Patinkin's best-known role has been on television, as FBI agent Jason Gideon in Criminal Minds from 2005 to 2007 and Saul Berenson in Homeland from 2011 to 2019. A Saul Benenson parody appeared in Season 25's "Homerland" although not voiced by him, but Hank Azaria.
On The Simpsons, Patinkin voiced Lisa Simpson's future fiancé Hugh Parkfield in "Lisa's Wedding."
