Goofs

The picture of a full-grown Bart and Lisa with Maggie is visible along the staircase wall.

  • One of the promotional images for this episode have a photo showing a 10-year old Bart, a 8-year old Lisa and Maggie is visible in the background, though Bart is 6 years old, Lisa is 4 years old and Maggie is still unborn, this was later fixed.
  • In the couch gag, Marge has white pearls rather than red pearls.
  • Why didn’t Homer tell Marge that someone put booze in Buzz Cola that messed up the party?
  • There are inconsistencies regarding some of the elements in the episode (which takes place six years before the present day):
    • Homer still has hair, and Maggie has not been born yet.
    • Maude Flanders is pregnant with Todd (and gives birth to him); Todd is his normal age (between 8-10 years old) when Maude dies in "Alone Again, Natura-Diddily", which means Maude dies at least eight years after these events take place; if this is correct, Maude would still be alive in the present day.
      • Todd was already alive when the Simpsons first moved into their house in "Lisa's First Word", which they met before Lisa was born.
    • Homer and Marge hail a rideshare car driven by Raphael, which happens to resemble the XW20 (second-generation) Toyota Prius. Another rideshare driver appears to be driving an XV30 Toyota Camry (introduced in 2001 in Japan, 2002 elsewhere).
    • Bart and Lisa are seen watching Krusty on a flat-screen TV, plus Sideshow Mel was Krusty’s sidekick, even though he wasn’t until sometime in Season 2. Krusty's sidekick at that time should be Sideshow Bob.
    • There is a piece of paper that reads "Remember Bitcoin Password" in the air vent.
      • When "Alone Again, Natura-Diddily" first aired in 2000, the XW20 Prius, XV30 Camry, rideshare services, flat-screen TVs, and Bitcoin did not exist.
    • Homer had a touch screen phone, but they didn’t exist until somewhere between 2009-2010.
    • YouTube was founded in 2005.
  • After Maude gives birth to Todd, he is shown with teeth despite being a newborn.
  • At the end of the episode while telling Rod and Todd a scary story, the flashlight under Bart chin shows the shadow of his eyebrows, even though he do not have eyebrows.
