McBain is Back! is a comic series based on the McBain Franchise. The first issue was released in 1995 and the series was still going in 2000 and 2001.

In 2000 and 2001 you could find at least the first few issues in "The Android's Dungeon & Baseball Card Shop". There was also a red poster by the desk and a black one in the aisles.

McBain 1: Have Bodybag, Will Travel![]
McBain is in a jungle with his team. There they are attacked by Cybertronic Orangutans. McBain is disappointed after his ally: Perkins, told him that their intel had given him the information and there would be cyber pumas. McBain tries to abort the mission but his team tells him to save himself, which he does before a dynamite explodes. McBain wakes up and it turns out to have been a dream from his past. McBain is at the police station, where he meets an aged Perkins who has received death threats from an enemy: Dr. Malevolent. He asks McBain to be his daughter's bodyguard. McBain reluctantly agrees.
Later, McBain is at the mall with Perkins' daughter who is taking selfies when McBain gets a feeling that something is wrong. Suddenly, a window breaks. Two angry robot dogs jump through the broken window. McBain shoots down a billboard. The billboard lands on the robots and breaks them. McBain flees with Perkin's daughter. However, she steps on a trap and they both get an electric shock which leaves them unconscious.
They are captured by Dr. Malevolent, who takes them to his lab. McBain wakes up and Dr. Malevolent lets him meet McBrain. It is revealed that McBrain is a being that was created from McBain's DNA. McBain fights against McBrain. In the fight, McBrain uses a laser. Eventually, McBain loses the fight and dies. McBain wakes up in Hell where he is rescued by his old team from the jungle who manage to send him back life. Dr. Malevolent is surprised that McBain is alive again. A moment later, McBrain shoots his laser at him again. The first laser bounces back after it hits Perkins' daughter's smartphone knocking out McBrain. McBain then knocks out Dr. Malevolent aswell. Later, Perkins shows up and reveals that his "daughter" is really Agent Milano. She was working undercover to test McBain. Later, McBain trains McBrain to become a police officer.
