In Lisa the Beauty Queen Menthol Moose went with Lisa on a parade to advertise Laramie Cigarettes, but when Lisa decides advertising cigarettes was wrong, she knocked down a gigantic box of Laramie, which falls on Menthol Moose, possibly killing him, if this did not kill him, Menthol Moose may have been killed by his lung cancer, although this is also unconfirmed, he may appear in later episodes as Menthol Moose, but this is also unknown.
