Michael P. Schoenbrun (5 September, 1938 - 5 June, 1993) was the Executive in Charge of Production at Gracie Films. He was credited on more than 54, beginning with "Bart Gets Hit by a Car" and ending with "Homer the Vigilante".
Other work included serving as the Unit Production Manager for Star Trek III: The Search for Spock (1984) and as an Assistant Director on 24 episodes of Mission: Impossible.
He died on June 5, 1993 from pancreatic cancer at the age of 54. "Homer's Barbershop Quartet" was dedicated to him.
