Moonshine River is the 24th season premiere. It aired on September 30, 2012 and featured guest stars Zooey Deschanel, Ken Burns, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Anne Hathaway, Maurice LaMarche, Don Pardo, Natalie Portman, Kevin Michael Richardson, Al Roker and Sarah Silverman. The episode was also dedicated to Andy Williams, who died five days before the episode aired due to bladder cancer.

Synopsis

After Bart realizes that his relationships didn't last long, he visits some of his past girlfriends. Being rejected by all of them, Bart turns to his last ex-girlfriend, Cletus' daughter Mary. Learning that she's relocated to New York City, Bart goes on a trip to find her. Meanwhile, Lisa and Marge try to find something in New York to do that does not cost a fortune.
