History
In "Moe Goes from Rags to Riches", Moe's father was shown to be a Yeti.
However, the episode "Walking Big & Tall" implied this not to be true, as seen in a flashback where he and Moe were singing "Only Springfield".
In the episode "King Leer" more about Morty's past is shown; it is revealed that he ran a chain of mattress stores called Mattress King, and that he disowned Moe after he failed to uphold the tradition of releasing bed bugs in his competitors' stores.
