Mother Hubbard's Sandwich Cupboard is a sandwich franchise chain restaurant. Marge joins the franchise chain and opens up a restaurant. She hires Gil Gunderson , Jeremy Freedman and Shauna Chalmers to work at the restaurant. The franchise's logo, old mother Hubbard, is a sandwich made to look like an human old lady. Mr.Burns flirts with the cardboard stand of the logo.

Mother Hubbard comes from the nursery rhyme Old Mother Hubbard.The first verse of the rhyme is : Old Mother Hubbard went to the cupboard, to give the poor dog a bone; When she came there, the cupboard was bare, and so the poor dog had none.
