| ~ Mr. Hubley to Hub |
Mr. Hubley is the father of Hub. He makes his first appearance in "Guess Who's Coming to Skinner."
He is voiced by Kurtwood Smith.
History[]
Hub claimed to be an orphan, told Skinner that their parents were dead in multiple ways.
When Hub's parents saw him playing as Farmer McGregor at Springfield Elementary School, he ran off, and they found their runaway son. Hub explained to Skinner that Hub was sent to a boarding school by his parents, but ran off. Hub was mad at his parents for taking five months to find him, and his mother apologized to him. His parents were about to come home, but Hub chose to head back to the play before they left, and shared his story and improvised in a performance, thanks to Skinner for looking after him. His parents watched his performance.
Behind the Laughter[]
Hub's father's character design was based on Neil's disapproving father from the movie Dead Poets Society who was also played by Kurtwood Smith.
