Full Story[]
Springfield is having a parade in homage to Jebediah Springfield, the city's founder. During the parade, Bart activates a fire engine's water cannon, soaking Chief Wiggum. As a result, the Springfield P.D. got into a battle against the volunteer Fire Department, which ended up with a SWAT tank losing control and destroying the Kwik-E-Mart, injuring Apu and Sanjay. At the hospital, Sanjay revealed that he wanted to retire from his job at the market and gave his share of the store to his son, Jay Nahasapeemapetilon. Marge cannot believe that Jamshed has grown up and is an adult.
Seeing Bart's prank consequences, Homer reveals the video footage of Bart wrecking the parade decides that Bart has gone too far, and makes him promise to never prank again or he will turn him in (He'll only come out to see the dentist). Milhouse tries to bring the old Bart back, but he resisted dropping a beehive on Superintendent Chalmers’ crotch and releasing the handbrake on Skinner's cherry-picker. Bart declares that Milhouse is the new prankster and he happily accepts. Bart new personality brings benefits, as now he's getting better grades (which goes unnoticed by his parents), and as result, he's having a closer bond with Lisa, as now he understands her point of view for not having any recognition at all for her achievements.
Six weeks after the incident, Apu goes see what has happened with the Kwik-E-Mart, only to find it is now the "Quick & Fresh", a store that sells natural products run by Jamshed (who now calls himself Jay). Apu cannot believe the decor and the items they are selling, he finally asks how Jay got 80% of the store. In the store's restroom (when Homer follows them), Jay explains that Apu had an addiction for scratching The Big Bang Theory tickets after he found a winning ticket, after that every ticket he scratched was a loss. With every ticket he scratched Apu paid his brother back with a portion of the store, so Jay is now the owner of 80% of the store. Later, Moe and Apu are talking about what happened to his store, but Jay, who's already angry at his uncle for being a stereotype, fires Apu from his job. Apu is so depressed that he goes to Moe's Tavern, where Moe convinces Homer to turn Bart into a prankster again for him to pull a prank on Jay so Apu can have his store back.
Bart reverts to his old self Clockwork Orange style, deciding that the best prank would be to turn the Quick & Fresh light switch off for thirty seconds. As none of the products have conservants, everything will rot, but he's interrupted by Lisa, who reminds him that after he stopped pranking, they loved each other even more, but Bart misinterprets the expression "unconditional love" as a sign he can do anything he wants and still be loved by his sister, so he cuts the store's power.
Inside the store, all the products start deteriorating, scaring the customers away, despite Jay's assurance the store is clean (which isn't true anymore), Apu rubs in Jay's failure. Unfortunately when the power is turned back on, two massage stones collide, producing a spark that led to a major fire. As the fireman had used all their water and foam against the police on the parade, they have nothing they can extinguish the fire with, and the store is completely destroyed by the flames. Later, Apu apologizes about what happened to Jay and he apologizes to his uncle, but he also finds another The Big Bang Theory scratch-off ticket in the middle of the debris. He scratches it and wins a million dollars, enough money to buy his store back and rebuild the Kwik-E-Mart. Afterwards, Homer is given the Golden Squishee Cup.
