Munchers

Munchers are a species of zombie-like monsters appearing in the Treehouse of Horror XX segment "Don't Have A Cow, Mankind". They where turned into monsters after Kent Brockman consumed a Burger Squared and turned into the first muncher. Kent proceeded to bite Krusty the Clown, turning Krusty into a muncher. 28 days later, Springfield has turned into an wasteland. During this apocalypse, Bart is discovered to be immune to the Muncher Virus and can become the cure. At the end of the segment, Bart bathes in the food of Springfield and develops a cure for the virus. The food working as a cure is proven when Ralph Wiggum is seen as a human at the end of the segment, despite being seen as a muncher at the start. Despite it working as a cure, Homer is left as a zombie and locked in a cage.

Munchers have pale skin, dark red circles around their eyes, the pupils of their eyes have become red, drool comes out of their mouth, and are aggressive.
