Synopsis[]

Through a series of YouTube recommended videos, the story of the rise and fall of The Simpson Family Vlog is revealed.

Plot[]

In the start of the episode, when someone saw the video titled "Our Brand-New House!!" from TheSimpsonsFamilyChannel. They click it and start watching their video as the Simpsons take a tour of their new mansion, purchased for by their sponsor, Coinstar. They have enough of this video and searches for "Simpson Family Who?" to learn about the Simpsons. They discover a video in which Comic Book Guy provides a summary of the Simpsons' rise to fame. A video titled "Cute Baby Gets Stage Fright" featuring Maggie and Homer that went viral and catapulting the Simpsons to fame. They subsequently launched a YouTube channel that primarily features Homer and Maggie. The video "Ten-Year-Old Drugged-Out After Oral Surgery During Family Car Sing-A-Long" went viral and led a surge in popularity for the Simpsons. As the police pulled them over, the officer dragged Homer out of his car.

The user selects another video titled "Love Those Crazy Simpsons" by Martin Prince. In his video, Martin explains the YouTube series created by each family. Marge began doing interviews titled "Deep Fried Thoughts," where she had her guest sample deep-fried delicacies. Bart initiated a prank show named "'Gurt Squad," in which he sprays yogurt on the residents of Springfield. Lisa created videos where she went to the local beaches to clean things up. The user had enough of this and then moved to the next video titled "The Dark Side of the Simpson Family" by Truth Wizard. The Truth Wizard claims that the Simpsons are not who they purport to be and insists that the perpetuation of falsehoods must cease. When Luann turns a light on, Truth Wizard quickly unmasked Milhouse, who served as the cameraman for the Simpsons' video blogs. Milhouse then presents several clips portraying the Simpsons went so badly. Homer went horrible behind the scenes and punched the wall instead of tapping it as Marge told him. Bart's co-stars were merely paid Spucklers, while Lisa had her crew clean up beaches and even rented a seal for a rescue. Milhouse then presents another clip in which Homer agrees to create a 'Nom-Noms 6: European Nom-cation' experience in Maggie's bedroom, even though Maggie is frightened of the Nom-Noms. When Maggie entered the room, however, she was too scared of Nom-Noms which Maggie was in tears and too angry at Homer.

As Milhouse closes his laptop, the user clicked another video titled "The Lenny and Carl Situation," Lenny, Carl, and Moe have a conversation about Homer, noting that he never mentioned Maggie during their time as drinking friends. It's also mentioned that Maggie no longer makes videos with Homer anymore, leading to the creation of a simulated Maggie using practical effects, a clip of which was subsequently displayed. The user sees that the video went on another few hours, so they click the next video titled "The Simpson Family Huge Announcement" that they made an announcement to address the recent controversies. After that, there was no further heard from the Simpsons.

The YouTube user investigates a series of conspiracy theories regarding the Simpsons. Starting off with Professor Frink deducing that they were abducted by a major corporation, followed by Principal Skinner suspecting that an alien possessed Homer. Mike Wegman told them to leave Homer Simpson alone, while Patty and Selma speculate that Homer may have snapped and murdered his family. The user then clicks another video titled "We Located the Simpson Mansion!!" by the school bullies to find the location where the Simpsons' mansion is at. Subsequently, numerous vloggers also find the address and converge on the property until to find the Simpsons secured in the panic room.

On Opal's show, the Simpsons reveal that the mansion was built by a company that previously only produced NFTs of houses, and the panic room door was installed incorrectly. As a result, they were trapped and stuck inside forever once it shut. The entire family found themselves confined in the panic room, subsisting on sponsored products they had received but never consumed. While locked away, they bonded again and resolved their conflicts. They also made the decision to quit YouTube and stop their vlogging activities.

As the video ends, the user turns out to be George R.R. Martin, lamenting the loss of four hours of his life. A woman subsequently yells him; to get working to focus on his new book and she cannot have a party for him until he gets the job done. Martin proceeds to search for "dragon ideas" on YouTube and finds a video featuring two drag queens, Bob the Drag Queen and Monét X Change, brawling in a Waffle House, much to his enjoyment.
