Synopsis[]
Homer and Ned go through a life swap via a reality TV show but they take each other's personalities a bit too much.
Full Story[]
Homer is in trouble for speeding, which he claims was a speed trap set up by Wiggum. Judge Snyder is less than convinced and gives Homer 200 hours of community service but the jury objects cause of Homer's previous brushes with service. However, Lindsay Neagle comes up with the idea for his community service to be commuted to reality TV time. So Homer will be involved in a house swap type of show with Flanders where each of them will style the house for each other. Meanwhile, Lisa refuses to take part and is shooed away to Spoilsport Camp with Otto who needs to pick up "the Osbourne who refused to be in the reality show (Amy)"
After the swap is revealed, Homer is convinced to be in Ned's shoes and does some good around the house and community, he does pick up Ned's shirt and mustache from the trash though. Ned unfortunately ends up adopting Homer's lifestyle and skips out on church duties. Homer gets fired by Burns thinking he's hiding something but Homer freaks out the Simpsons by saying it'll give him more time for charity work. So both families decide to model THEMSELVES after each other and gets Ned and Homer to yell at each other, then go back to normal. Homer is rehired by Burns and he wanders where Lisa is.
