North Kilttown is a town in Scotland.
History[]
When breaking into Springfield Elementary to steal grease, Homer and Bart encounter Groundskeeper Willie. Making a quick excuse and seeing Willie's kilt, Homer claims that he and Bart are "exchange students" from North Kilttown in Scotland. With delight, Willie exclaims that he is also from North Kilttown, and asks the pair if they know an Angus Macleod.[1]
Trivia[]
- North Kilttown is obviously fictitious, and there is no such place in Scotland.
- Given Willie's parents live and own a business near Loch Ness, a reasonable assumption is that North Kilttown is somewhat near there.
- Willie's statements of having come from North Kilttown contradict those made later about having come from Kirkwall.[2]
