The Old Irish Man was a minor character in The Simpsons. He only appeared in two episodes, one being a cameo in Homer's Barbershop Quartet. He was among the people who opposed Barney Gumble replacing Clancy Wiggum as a member of The Be Sharps, but began to like Barney as the others do due to Barney's Irish baritone.
