While the Simpsons wait for their meals at The Frying Dutchman Homer recalled the story of the ocean liner capsizing which is really just Homer summarizing the 1970s disaster movie The Poseidon Adventure. In the story the old Jewish man and his wife are on the ship making their first trip to Israel. She tells the other passengers, "Our son Shlomo is working on a kibbutz in Haifa.
