| ~ Last voicemail from the old Jewish man's dead wife[src] |
The Old Jewish Man's wife is the deceased wife of the Old Jewish Man and his son's mother.
History[]
She appears in a hallucination by her husband when the retirement home staff gave the residents drugged candy on Valentine's Day. Similar to how Grampa Simpson's hallucination of his wife as a young woman on their wedding day, she is also a younger version of herself as she and the old Jewish man danced together.[1]
The old Jewish man played his wife's last voicemail to him before her death for Marge.[2]
Non-canon[]
While the Simpsons wait for their meals at The Frying Dutchman Homer recalled the story of the ocean liner S.S. Neptune capsizing. She and her husband appeared as an old Jewish couple making their first trip to Israel. She tells the other passengers, "Our son Shlomo is working on a kibbutz in Haifa. We're schlepping him some kreplach." and the old Jewish man than says, "We're Jewish, all right!"[3]
