One Angry Lisa is the second episode of Season 34, originally produced for Season 33.

Synopsis[]

Lisa gets called for jury duty while Marge becomes obsessed with her exercise bike.

Plot[]

When the family is watching the commercial for an exercise bike by Pedalon, Marge asks Homer to buy an exercise bike for her. Nonetheless, he rejects her idea. When Marge walks away crying, Homer will buy it for her and anything else advertised on television. When the kids are tuning the channels if there's anything else besides an exercise bike, the TV shows a car, a yacht, and a giraffe and Homer then knocking it out, before he heads out for the shop. He went to the shop and wanted to buy an exercise bike which was very expensive, but installment plan is available which Homer agreed to, but extra is expensive as well.

At home, after the package arrived at night, Homer couldn't put it inside the house because it was too big which contains a part of an exercise bike. Homer assembles it himself, but he gets trapped without any help while assembling it, Bart ends up stealing his wallet. Bart got back from Itchy & Scratchy Land where Homer falls sleep and Marge building it. Marge starts her lessons with Jesse and welcomes everyone, except Ms. Hoover due to her credit card has been declined and taken away by repo men. Following the first lesson, the kids get return home and Lisa collected the mail where Marge kept on going. When Lisa opened it, she received a jury summons in her name and tried to throw it away; she would receive jail for six months.

Marge continues exercising all day which Homer gets too upset. Lisa went to the prospective juror room to try to resolve that problem, but she was turned down by the officer for jury duty exemption despite her appearance and articulate speech. At night in bed, Marge continues to exercise in her sleep until Homer wakes her up. His concern escalates when she begins to murmur Jesse's name instead of his. Homer visits Moe's for a beer and some advice, only to discover that the other husbands are also there, airing their complaints. During the trial, Lisa is seated alongside other potential jurors being selected by Judge Harm.

At home, Marge is exercising, Jesse invites Marge on a private ride around the world in the Cool Down Lounge for $299, which she shuts off but accepts despite Maggie's disapproval. Back to the courthouse, Blue-Haired Lawyer explains Chief Wiggum that he took a photo of himself which he admits that he embarrasses himself on the witness stand as Lisa laments the farcical nature of the situation. Meanwhile, begins her private ride on the Great Wall of China, while Homer, arriving home with roses, he gets so angry at the scene and heading back to Moe's.

Back to Moe's, Homer suggests they take action by taking him down, and Reverend Lovejoy provides them with his location. Back at the courthouse, defense attorney Gil embarrasses himself, and Lisa has her statement to objects to the judge. However, the judge finds her comments offensive and holds her in contempt of court. Consequently, the trial ends in a mistrial, and the defendant is set free, much to Lisa's anger. At Jesse's home, while Marge continues exercising, Jesse gets interrupted by someone knocking on the door. When Jesse opened the door, it was Homer, and he then punched his face and started fighting in the front camera, which lead Marge to head out to save Homer from fighting with Jesse. She tried to start her car but failed. However, Marge takes Lisa's bike to on her way to Jesse's house with her muscle memory.

Back at Jesse's house, where Jesse is still strangling Homer, Marge arrived at his house to save Homer by preventing Jesse from being pushed down the side of the Great Wall. Marge then discovers that it's a fake private ride and she is knocking Jesse down from the side of the Great Wall. She then takes Homer back home on the bike. During the ride, they stop by Lard Lad Donuts to purchase some donuts, and meanwhile, Kirk sets on fire to the closed Pedalon shop. When Marge and Homer passed Lisa, she stated that the bike belonged to her.

In the end, Lindsey Naegle went to Pedalon shop and wanted to buy an exercise bike, but Jesse was interrupted by Gil, who, now employed at the shop, preventing him from completing the sale.

Like Goo Goo Gai Pan, this episode has been banned from Disney+ in Hong Kong due to criticism of China, and it contains a line: "Behold the wonders of China. Bitcoin mines, forced labor camps where children make smartphones, and romance."
