When the Simpsons family was in The 1895 Challenge, they visited the Kwik-E-Mart. Marge wanted to buy an Oreo package, but Apu didn't allow her to as the product was first made before 1896; they weren't allowed to buy anything made after 1895.[1]
Toot-Toot gave Bart an Oreo, which he ate because it was "rank."[2]
Behind the Laughter[]
Oreo is a real product, and they were released in 1912, not 1896. But Hydrox, the cookie Oreo was based on was released in 1908.
