History[]
The Othinquic pen featured prominently in a commercial for Othinquic. During the commercial, she injected herself into individuals, transforming them into slimmer and more vibrant versions of themselves. After Homer, Bart, and Lisa left for Luigi's to eat, Marge envisioned the Othinquic pen appearing and coming out of the television to speak to her. She informed Marge about a significant health risk and said she knew because she was in medicine. Marge said that it was medicine. The Othinquic pen inquired of Marge whether Homer would appear attractive if he possessed a muscle with defined abdominal muscles. Marge then awakened, disclosing that the entire experience had been merely a dream. However, the Othinquic pen subsequently entered the bedroom as Marge persuaded Homer to accept Othinquic. She observed Homer and Marge embracing and expressing disgust, remarking that it hated having eyes that could not blink.
After individuals began using Othinquic, Marge walked through Springfield and noticed an unhealthy thinness, with loose skin sagging from their faces. She then envisioned the Othinquic pen once again, which assured Marge that they looked fabulous. Marge said that they looked sad. The Othinquic pen informed Marge that "Oinquic face" was one of the negative effects of Othinquic, and that she could be remedied with injections of body fat. The Othinquic pen subsequently informed Marge that weight loss was healthy, regardless of the method. She subsequently said that she had done a lot of research on profits and the profits were 100% safe, and that any side effects would be discovered eventually. It was subsequently revealed that this was part of a large-scale beta test of the drug, in which participants were compensated for their involvement. It was then called "suckers."
After Marge receiving invitation from Patty and Selma's Sologamy celebration, she then envisioned once more the Othinquic pen again to speak to her. She asked Marge what she was going to wear and mentioned her strapless black dress. Marge mentioned that she had worn it since before having children, and therefore, it likely would not fit her anymore. The Othinquic pen subsequently persuaded Marge to take the drug so she could regain her fitness. When Marge took it, her vision went black, and she told her that blindness was a potential side effect, although it occurred in only three percent of cases.
