Dr. Phil McGraw was the person who tried to stop Homer, who had been transformed into a monstrous blob-like creature, from consuming people, in "Treehouse of Horror XVII". He also had a brief cameo in the episode "Poorhouse Rock".

He brought along Homer's family in an attempt to stop him from eating townspeople. Homer, however, ate him as well after visualizing him as talking fudge (his last words "Food does not equal love!" before he digests into nothingness).
