The Springfield Democratic Party is a centre-left party in Springfield, focussing on socialist issues. The party's members include Julio, Selma Bouvier, Patty Bouvier and Joe Quimby.
Far-left[]
The Springfield Communist Party is a communist far-left party. Some communists are occasionally mentioned in the show, many of North Korean, Chinese or Russian decent.
Right-wing[]
Centre-right[]
The main conservative and centre-right party in Springfield is the Springfield Republican Party. The parties members include The Rich Texan, Mr. Burns, Dracula and Rainier Wolfcastle.
Far-right[]
Some far-right characters occasionally appear on the show, such as Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini.

In The Simpsons Christmas Special, Lisa openly supported either Cornwall's independence from the United Kingdom or Cornwall becoming a separate UK country in addition to England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
Scottish[]
Groundskeeper Willie is open about his views on Scottish independence, as seen in the YouTube special Willie's Views On Scottish Independence. This video was released amid the 2014 Scottish Independence Referendum.
