The Prehistoric Exhibit Family couch gag is the third couch gag of Season 21.
Plot[]
The Simpson family, dressed in prehistoric-style clothing, run to the couch (really a log, which is in a prehistoric area, resting on a tar pit) and sit on it, but they sink with it into a tar pit. Eventually, their skeletons and the log are all later seen in a museum exhibit.
