Ramses Burns is Mr. Burns' favorite maternal grand-uncle who lives in Egypt, and is also the third boss in The Simpsons: Bart vs. the World.

History[]

After Bart Simpson wins Krusty's art contest in The Krusty the Clown Show, he won a world wide Krusty the Clown treasure hunt for not only Bart, but also the rest of his family. However, after the contest was revealed to be ran by Mr. Burns and Smithers, their ploy to have Bart's drawing win was to have the Simpson family go to dangerous parts around the world, and Mr. Burns tells some of his relatives to get rid of them and help with his plan.

One of Burns' relatives that helped Mr. Burns was Ramses Burns, who is not only Mr. Burns' favorite grand-uncle from his mother's side, but also the third boss of the game.

When Bart finishes the third level in Egypt, he encounters Ramses Burns, and the way he needs to defeat him is to pull on a loose string underneath the latter's magic carpet as he is flying around. Bart also needs to avoid various crooks that Ramses Burns threw down. Mr. Burns in rage at the failure demanded that Smithers, in addition to contacting his "Hollywood Relative" Eric Von Burns as a last resort, to also remove Ramses Burns from his will (with it being implied that Mr. Burns was initially planned to bequeath to Ramses Burns his salad bowl had it not been for Ramses' failure).

Trivia[]

Despite Ramses having the surname Burns, he is on Mr. Burns' mother's side of the family, rather than his father's side of the family. It could be a mistake on the makers' part, or was intentional for the players to know the relations.
