Randy Jackson is an American bassist, singer, record producer, music manager, A&R executive and television personality. He is best known as a judge on American Idol and Executive Producer for MTV's America's Best Dance Crew.
Jackson will voice himself alongside Idol host Ryan Seacrest, and fellow judges Ellen DeGeneres, Kara DioGuardi and Simon Cowell in The Simpsons episode "Judge Me Tender". He also appears as himself in the Simpsons comic story 3000's Company as a judge of "Springfield Idol" (a parody of American Idol).
