Movies

Flubber

For about 3 seconds, Bart and Lisa laughing on a couch on the yellow robot can be seen.

Garfield: The Movie

Garfield flips the channel of the TV to "The Canine Mutiny".

Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle

The Extreme Sport Punks make fun of Kumar for being Indian, calling him "Apu" and asking him who's looking after the Kwik-E-Mart while he's gone.

Inspector Gadget

A scene shows Sykes sleeping in front of a control panel, mirroring a TV in the background showing Homer Simpson sleeping at his workstation from Lisa's Pony.

Monkeybone

A framed picture of Krusty the Clown, is seen on the wall. The picture shows a very depressed looking Krusty, driving a car, which is a screencap from "Homie the Clown".

The Duff

A flashback is shown to Bianca's mother crying and being depressed over her divorce. She is sitting in the couch watching "One Fish, Two Fish, Blowfish, Blue Fish". She is watching the scene where Homer is going through the five stages of grief, which inspires her to make her own motivational campaign, based off of the five stages of grief.

TV Shows

Aaahh!!! Real Monsters

During the scene where Murray the Monster first shows up out of the limo in the episode, "Monsters Don't Dance", a boy that greatly resembles Bart can be seen in the crowd of people cheering while waving his lucky red hat.
Additionally, the various quotes the Gromble says during the opening credits before each episode are Gromble Gags, which are based on the couch gags from The Simpsons.

The Adventures of the Jimmy Neutron

In space, Jimmy's evil clone makes a prank call to the U.N. Security Council asking for Ivanna Shakemabooty (Pun: I wanna shake ma booty). This is a reference to Bart's prank calls to Moe's Tavern.

Aladdin: The animated series

In the episode "Genie Hunt", Aladdin outsmarts Genie in the style of "Duck Season, Rabbit Season" about him being afraid of Rajah's teeth, causing Genie to say "D'oh" in the style of Homer as Genie was voiced by Dan Castellaneta, who also voiced Homer.

The Amazing World of Gumball

In "The Pest", a sound that was used for Itchy's movement plays.

American Dad!

In the episode "100 A.D.", Roger hosts the show, at first, believing that he's hosting the Who Shot Mr. Burns? special, until he realizes that he is on American Dad.
In the episode "Faking Bad", Bart Simpson appears, giving Steve a fake ID. The name on the fake ID is "Mike Rotch", which Steve makes the mistake of saying, in a similar way to how Moe says it in the Bart's prank calls gag. Bart then laughs at him and runs away.
In the episode "The Longest Distance Relationship", Sibad and Jeff traveled through a wormhole and changed through a bunch of depictions styles. One of which, depicted them the way they would be depicted in The Simpsons.

Animaniacs

Bart makes a cameo appearance in the episode "Hooray For North Hollywood, Part two in the musical number "Shmooze", when Dot Warner sings "And for The Simpsons you suggested that they call the kid 'Bart'". Only Bart's hair was seen in the episode to avoid copyright claims of 20th Century Fox.

Avatar: The Last Airbender

Toph says, "We're finally leaving Ba Sing Se, Worst City Ever!", which is a reference to Comic Book Guy's catchphrase.

Big City Greens

The main characters of the show are yellow.
The episode "Cricketsitter" has a similar plot to "My Sister, My Sitter".
Juan Pablo's hairstyle is similar to that of Bart Simpson but purple instead of yellow.

In "Disclosure: The Musical" Mr. Lizer addressed Matthew as "Lisa Simpson".

Joe Tabootie, Rudy's father sounds very similar to Ned Flanders, but in a high-distorted pitch.

In "Fishing Trip", after losing all of his hair, Chad resembles Homer Simpson and also uses his famous catchphrase after Sumo steps on his toe.

Class of 3000

In "Love is in the Hair...Net", Leela Lopez briefly (but accidentally) dressed like Marge Simpson. Sunny (who spun Leela around to change clothes) has no idea where the look came from.

Comic Book Men

In one episode, the guys talk about Valentine's cards and Bryan tells Ming not to be the "Choo-Choo Choose Me guy", referring to Ralph's card to Lisa.
In the first episode, the Simpsons Futurama Crossover Crisis can be seen in the stash.

Corner Gas

In one episode, Brent put Marge on the list of who to not accept checks from.

Drawn Together

In "The Other Cousin", Homer Simpson can be seen lying on the ground on a mattress, scratching himself.
In "A Tale of Two Cows," a reference to the floorboard gag is made when as the camera moves up between the floorboards two skeletons that resemble Bart and Lisa Simpson can be seen. Later in the episode, the news reported showed Springfield as one of the cartoon places that was attacked by Live Action Cow. A news reporter was seen screaming and the corpses of Bart, Milhouse, and Todd were seen lying in front of the Simpson house. The news reporter also said that Springfield was in Connecticut, referencing to the Springfield's State joke in the show.
In "Ghostesses in the Slot Machine," Homer was seen at the strip club, watching Clara and Foxxy's performance. Later in the episode, Marge was seen at a gambling machine, which was a reference to the episode "$pringfield (Or, How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love Legalized Gambling)" and her gambling addiction in general.
In "Wooldoor Sockbat's Giggle-Wiggle Funny Tickle Non-Traditional Progressive Multicultural Roundtable", Ned Flanders was seen in the courtroom, as one of the bigoted Catholics trying to cancel Wooldoor's show.
In Lost in Parking Space, Part One, Xandir is looking for a parking space in a way that alludes to the episode Colonel Homer, where other cartoon characters keep pulling into the parking spaces that Xandir is about to go to, and he eventually has to result to parking the van in a compact area, making him squeeze in between two cars and have sparks fly off the edges of the car as he skids along the cars.
In Lost in Parking Space, Part Two, Homer Simpson was seen in the dungeon for cartoon characters that everyone hates with nails in in feet and legs.
In Nipple Ring-Ring Goes to Foster Care, Captain Hero's 12 year old self proclaimed "Do the Bartman!"
In American Idol Parody Clip Show, the scene showing Captain Hero's date with Clara was jokingly titled as "Best Simpsons Parody" even though it had nothing to do with The Simpsons.

Duckman

In "I, Duckman", Duckman watches a number of old home movies, one of them depicting the Simpsons living room. His eldest son, Ajax, is also seen, dressed like Bart Simpson. Duckman is listening to the TV, on which the announcer lists the winning lottery numbers. When he realizes he won the lottery, Duckman shouts "Woo-hoo!" His younger sons, being only babies, then crawl over and eat the lottery ticket, to which Duckman cries "D'oh!" His wife is also seen, dressed like Marge Simpson.
A boy whose appearance is similar to that of Bart's is seen at the boarding school for gifted children from the episode "Ride the High School".
In It's the Thing of the Principal Duckman shouts "D'oh!" at the end.
In the Halloween episode, "Duckman and Cornfed in 'Haunted Society Plumbers'", Homer is shown at the end eating donuts. He was voiced by Dan Castellaneta.

El Tigre the Adventures of Manny Rivera

One episode's title is a parody of Bart's catchphrase, "Ay Carumba!"

Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends

In the episode, "Duchess of Wails", Mr. Applebeee looks very identical to Ned Flanders and his personality is very similar to him and his wife, Mrs. Applebee looks very identical to Maude Flanders, Ned's deceased wife.

Fresh off the Boat

In the episode "Year of the Rat", Mitch was seen putting olives on his fingers and ribbing them together, quoting Mr. Burns' catchphrase, "Excellent", until Louis told him, "No more Simpsons impressions", to which Mitch replies with a sad "D'oh".

Futurama

In one episode, when Fry, Leela and Bender land on a giant ball of trash that's heading towards a collision course with Earth, Fry spots a pile of Bart Simpson dolls. Bender pulls a string behind one of them, which causes the doll to utter Bart's catchphrase "Eat my shorts", which Bender promptly dose, afterwords murmuring "MMM... shorts"

In the episode "The Automated, Animated Cartoon", Garfield is briefly dressed as Bart

Gravity Falls

In the episode "Bottomless Pit", in his tale Dipper says, "How you diddly-doing, Soos?" which is a reference to Ned Flanders

Hey Duggee

In the episode "The Hair Badge", one of Duggee's hairstyles resembles Homer Simpson's hair, even saying "D'oh!" while in this style.

Monster in the Mirror Simpsons — "Hey, wubba, man!"

Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, and Maggie make an appearance singing near the end of the song, "Monster in the Mirror".

In Season 2, Episode 1: In The Dark, the contestants tried to make hair cuts that resemble cartoon characters, and two tried making Marge's hair do.

Robin With Bart's Hair — Robin with Bart's hair

In "Starfire the Terrible ", after Robin's hair gel is destroyed, he attempts to get it back to normal. While attempting to fix his hair, Robin is briefly shown with the hair style of Bart, as well as the hair styles of Goku from the Dragon Ball franchise, and Sonic from the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise.

The Cleveland Show

In the episode "Brown History Month", a cutaway to Cleveland with two other black people, Randy Jackson and Carl Carlson was seen.
In the episode "Cleveland Live!", there was an epilogue, talking about all the famous adult animated cartoons. The Simpsons was one of them. They showed a picture of Bart saying "¡Ay, caramba!" and then showed Stewie Griffin from Family Guy, saying the exact same phrase, making a joke about how Family Guy ripped off The Simpsons.
In the episode "BFF's", Donna goes off on a tangent about how the nagging wives of the stupid dad in adult animated sitcoms never have any friends, listing people such as Lois Griffin, Francine Smith, Marge Simpson, and herself.
In the episode "Harder, Better, Faster, Browner", the music guide briefly showed a bunch of famous songs from other adult animated sitcoms, including Do the Bartman.
In the episode "Hot Coacoa Bang Bang!", Comic Book Guy was seen coming up to Cleveland's stand at the Comic Con, reading his comic and saying "Worst Cameo Ever!".
In the episode "Ain't Nothin' but a Mutton Bustin'", there were stuffed dolls in the store that were parodies of Bart Simpson called "Brat Simpson".
In the episode "Turkey Dot Pie", a parade float of Bart Simpson is seen in the Macy's parade.

The Critic

In "Dial M for Mother", Homer and Bart made a brief appearance. During an interview with Geraldo Rivera, Jay is asked about talking over the heads of his audience and does just that in his answer. An annoyed family watching changes the channel to The Simpsons, where Homer—after stepping on a rake—exclaims, "D'oh!" and Bart replies, "¡Ay, caramba!" The family's father comments, "Now, this I understand."

In "Dukerella", Jay and Alice go to a costume ball dresses up as Homer and Marge to meet Duke, Alice's sister crush.

The Fairly OddParents

In "Channel Chasers", when Timmy, Adult Timmy, Wanda and Cosmo travel inside their TV to stop Vicky from taking over the world, one TV show they travel into is a parody of The Simpsons called The Feldmans. It features an opening sequence parody (without the title screen), a theme song parody, a chalkboard gag parody (the chalkboard reads "This is the sincerest form of flattery", a joke on how the show is imitating The Simpsons), parodies of Krusty, Ned Flanders, Barney Gumble, Springfield Elementary School (entitled "Wintergreen Elementary School"), El Barto (entitled "El Vicko"), the Nuclear Power Plant, Moe's Tavern (entitled "Mike's Tavern"), Blinky (Barney transforms into Blinky while swimming under a sea of radioactive liquid), 742 Evergreen Terrace and a couch gag. The town of "Wintergreen", is a parody of Springfield.
In "Cheese & Crockers", Mr. Turner invents his own toilet seat, which is similar to Homer's Lazy Man Toilet Seat from "The Wizard of Evergreen Terrace".

The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy

In "Home of the Ancients", the bride of Frankenstein have the hair similar to Marge Simpson.

The Loud House

Flip is similar to Apu.
The character Lisa shares similarities with Lisa from The Simpsons such as high intelligence at a young age.

The Powerpuff Girls

In the episode "Collect Her", Lenny Baxter, a recurring character, looks almost identical to Comic Book Guy.

The Office

There is a stuffed plushie doll of Homer Simpson that's seen in the office in several episodes.
In the episode Diwali, Michael lists the famous people from India; one of which is Apu.

The Samsonadzes

The entire show is a Georgian rip-off of The Simpsons.

Tiny Toon Adventures

In Tiny Toon Adventures: How I Spent My Vacation, Elmyra Duff gives a lion a Bart Simpson-type haircut.
In the episode "Pledge Week", Babs Bunny does impressions of Marge, Bart and, Maggie.
In "Toon TV", Babs mentions Bart in the song segment "Toon Out, Toon In".

In "Weekday Afternoon Live" their is a spoof character of Bart named Blard Simpleton.
In "Tiny Toon Spring Break", a blue Bart Simpson makes a cameo locked in a cage along with the other animal characters Elmyra has kidnapped.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

In one episode, The Simpsons appear on a TV screen.
In a Fast Forward episode, there's a family of aliens, who's members resemble Homer, Marge, Bart, and Maggie.

Uncle Grandpa

In the episode "Uncle Grandpa Land", the cast does a couch gag with Uncle Grandpa dressed as Bart.

Video Games

Adventure Capitalist

On Earth, one of the Angel managers is named "Homer Sprinkles". This character resembles Homer Simpson, and hiring this character makes the Donut Shops 10% cheaper, a reference to Homer's love of donuts.

Call of Duty: Black Ops II

The Multiplayer map "Meltdown" takes place on a nuclear power plant. Inside a room near the Militia spawn, a box of pink donuts can be found on a control panel, a reference to Homer's workplace.

Club Penguin

In the SWF for the new Clothes Shop (2012-present), Marge Simpson is seen in a cameo. To avoid lawsuits of 20th Century Fox, they changed the color of her hair to purple and put bows in her hair.

Counter-Strike: Condition Zero: Deleted Scenes

In the mission "Hankagai", a poster with 2 Mr. Sparkle's fishes, can be seen.

Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies

In Disco Stew ability is a reference Disco Stu.

Marvel Super Hero Squad Online

The Spectacular Spider-Ham will reference the Spider-Pig song by shouting out "Doin' whatever a Spider-Ham does" whenever he climbs a wall.

Minecraft XBOX Edition

A Simpsons Skin Pack DLC was released in late Febuary 2015.

StarCraft

The pilot for the Terran Science Vessel has a voice similar to to Mr. Burns. In addition, the pilot will say "Excellent!" if the player clicks it enough times.

Team Fortress 2

In the game, a hat is available to the Medic called "Ze Goggles" with the description stating that it does "nothing", a reference to a line from Rainier Wolfcastle in the episode Radioactive Man (which is also a popular internet meme).
In a blog post on the TF2 website explaining the development of the class "Demoman" (a black Scottish cyclops), the developers mentioned that they made the character black because at the time it looked too much like a "Groundskeeper in Springfield."

In this Russian Flash animated series in Season 3 episode 16 Bob in Circus, before the announcement of Bob, who was chosen to be an acrobate The Itchy & Scratchy Show jingle can be heard as well as heads of Krusty the Clown, Itchy and Scratchy were shown during the introduction.

Comics & Books

Aprendo con Los Stivenson (I Learn with The Stivensons)

The family's appearance has a heavily resemblance to The Simpsons, but with different names:
- Homer - Humbert.
- Marge - Margarita.
- Bart - Matt.
- Lisa - Linda.
- Maggie - Nancy.
- Santa's Little Helper - Unnamed dog.

Bloom County

In a strip for One Last Little Peek in 1995, the owner of a motorboat, while kicking off a girl with cornrows and a Mickey Mouse-lookalike for being "freeloaders" due to boarding despite not having enough fame to "have their faces printed on boxers", sarcastically yelled "Who do you think you are? The @★#@!! Simpsons?!" before demanding they get to work.

Curtis

On April 8th, 2018, Curtis invited notorious trouble makers from other media to his party. One of these troublemakers was Bart Simpson.

Luann

Homer was seen requesting an autograph from Tiffany (who was currently dressed up as Zeye from a homemade computer game "Eyes of Zeye"), although Luann, her rival, got the last laugh by giving an autograph on Darth Vader's lightsaber at the latter's request.

Big Nate

In an early strip, Nate says that he will wait to study until after watching The Simpsons.
In another strip, Nate suggests his father dress as Homer Simpson for Halloween.

Nickelodeon Magazine

On the cover for the April 2001 (Kids Choice Awards 2001 editon) issue, Bart makes a cameo.

Doctor Who Magazine

An alien resembling Bart Simpson briefly appears in the comic story "Space Invaders!"

On The Fastrack

The May 23, 2015 comic by Bill Holbrook includes Rose Trellis being drawn in several cartoon character styles, include with Marge's hair. The punchline is that because she is one of the richest people in the world, she objected that the cartoonists didn't pay her for the privilege of drawing her that way.

Dork Diaries

In the book "Tales from a Not-So-Happily Ever After:, Brianna mentioned that she tried to call Princess Sugar Plum, but instead called Moe and he told her if he called her again, he will send her to jail. This references when Bart do prank calls on Moe on several episodes of The Simpsons.

Harvest Moon

The characters from The Simpsons made a cameo appearance in the popular video game franchise manga Harvest Moon, are Krusty, Flanders, Moe, Mr. Burns and Smithers.

Music

Trey Songz

In Trey Songz' song "Say Aah", it features the line "Tryna' get you home or would you be Marge Simpson?", which is a play on Homer's name and a reference to his wife Marge Simpson.

Internet Memes

All Your Base Are Belong To Us

A popular series of photoshopped images for its use of a badly translated line from the imported European release of the Japanese video game Zero Wing, and exploded into use by the Newgrounds flash animation music videos of Invasion of the Gabber Robots by the defunct techno band Laziest Men On Mars, one edit consists of a take of the popular Chalkboard gag, with Bart writing the famous line down as punishment. This was the first meme used in The Simpsons.

Bart Testing Megaphones

Originating from the episode "The Secret War of Lisa Simpson", Bart gets a hold of several megaphones and lines them up in front of each other, aiming them outside a window. Bart regularly says "testing" into the first megaphone, and the sound is amplified with every megaphone it passes through. Once it gets to the last one, it blasts out an ear-drum shattering shockwave, throughout Spingfield, making the entire town go temporarily deaf, as well as leaving behind an everlasting stream of feedback.

This has been incorporated into a meme, wherein people will replace Bart's quote with other funny phrases or audio clips, giving it the same treatment.

Dead Bart

Dead Bart is a creepypasta, based on The Simpsons, which details a "lost" episode from the first season, wherein, like the title suggests, Bart Simpson dies. The creepypasta was also accompanied by an edited picture of Homer's face melting off, taken from the episode "There's No Disgrace Like Home". Despite this being Homer, it's intended to resemble Bart. The popularity of this creepypasta has turned it into an internet meme.

Homer Backs Into Things

Originating from the episode "Homer Loves Flanders", Homer inquires The Flanders Family if they want to spend time with him. They decline his offer and Homer says "Oh, okay." before backing into a hedge with a blank expression. This has been reused as a reaction clip on the internet.

Krumping Marge

Originating from the episode "Little Orphan Millie", a scene featured Marge teaching Bart how to do a dance, known as "krumping". While Marge krumped, one of the in-between frames depicted an awkwardly positioned Marge Simpson, with her head going down her neck, while she was in a funny position. This single frame of Marge had then become wildly popularized on the internet.

Simpsonwave

Simpsonwave is a sub-genre of memetic music, wherein vaporwave music is played over clips from The Simpsons, along with the scenes being filtered with psychedelic visuals, to fully commit to the "vaporwave" style of the art.

Steamed Hams

Originating from the episode "22 Short Films About Springfield", a scene featuring Principal Skinner and Superintendent Chalmers having dinner together, has become popular on YouTube, especially, where people edit the scene and do all sorts of funny remixes with it.

That's the Joke!

Originating from the episode "A Star is Burns", Rainier Wolfcastle gets his own stand-up comedy special, where he tells a bland joke that nobody gets, returning to him a resounding silence from the audience. After a beat of this awkward silence, Wolfcastle bluntly says into the microphone "That's the joke!"

This has been used as a reaction clip on the internet, in response to anyone who fails to understand the irony in an humorous statement, and explains the nonsense of the statement, believing it to be serious.
