Reinhard Brock
Reinhard Brock (1 November 1951- 8 December 2013) was a German director and voice actor who provided the German voice of Charles Montgomery Burns, among others.
Biography[]
Being a director and actor, he started working as a voice-over performer in 1988. He regularly voiced Danny Glover, Laurence Fishburne, and Morgan Freeman, as well as Paul Sorvino on Law & Order and Sulley in Monsters, Inc. Since the early 1990s, he had voiced Mr. Burns in every episode of The Simpsons and in The Simpsons Movie, and several other characters for a season or two, as the voice actors of the supporting characters in the German version change quite regularly.
He also provided the German voice of Mayor West on Family Guy and of the narrator on the anime series One Piece. His three adult daughters are all voice actors as well.
He died on the 8th December 2013 after a short, serious illness at the age of 62.
