Rich Moore (born May 10, 1963) is an Academy Award-winning director and former director for The Simpsons who helped define the look of the show in the early seasons. His other directing credits include Futurama, The Critic, and three animated Disney Feature Films Wreck-It Ralph, Zootopia, and Ralph Breaks the Internet .
His most recent work was sequence director on The Simpsons Movie and animation executive producer on the Futurama DVD movie Bender's Big Score. He studied animation at California Institute of the Arts. In 2017, he managed to win his first Academy Award for Best Animated Feature Film for his movie Zootopia. Most recently he left Walt Disney Animation Studios, and has gone over to Sony Pictures Animation.
