The Roman Colosseum couch gag is the seventeenth couch gag of Season 20.
Plot[]
The living room is the seating area of the Colosseum during the era of the Roman Empire. The Simpson family (dressed in Roman togas) rush to an empty bench of the area to sit down on. The sounds of a gladiator match can be heard offscreen as the family and many others are watching it. The audience, including the family, cheers as the decapitated head of a gladiator flies into the audience, which is caught by Bart. Homer rubs Bart's hair.
