Ronald "Ron" Howard is an American film director who seems to be good friends with Kim Basinger and Alec Baldwin. He also gave Homer parenting advice at one time but also tried to kill him after jumping onto Homer's mobile museum. He can't drive very well. Homer wanted him to direct a new film he had wrote about a robot driving instructor whose best friend is a pie.[1]
He was a guest on "The Springfield Squares", where he got mad at Homer because he won the game. Some days later, he took his children to a famous people only zoo.[2]
The episode "Children of a Lesser Clod" was advertised as featuring Ron Howard, in what would have been his third appearance on The Simpsons. However, he was not in the aired version.
