Ronald Wilson Reagan (February 6, 1911-June 5, 2004) was the 40th president of the United States of America from 1981 to 1989. He was an actor before his service as president.
History[]
Reagan has been mentioned various times by the Simpsons. His first full appearance was at Mr. Burns' birthday party.[1] Reagan also appears in the parody montage of Homerland.[2] The Be Sharps performed for him and his wife Nancy Reagan at the Statue of Liberty.[3] He and the other living former presidents were offered to guest star in an episode. Yet he was the only one who responded by saying he did not want to.

Like his predecessor Presidents Gerald Ford and Jimmy Carter, Reagan was reportedly offered a chance to guest star in Krusty Gets Kancelled, but was the only one of these three to get in touch with the Simpsons production crew to decline the request.
