Ronaldo is a poor eight year old Brazilian orphan.

History

Lisa reveals that she had been supporting Ronaldo in his orphanage but he had gone missing.

The Simpsons decide to travel to Brazil to find him and initially have little success. After Homer is kidnapped, Lisa finds Ronaldo on a parade float for the television show Teleboobies.

Ronaldo reveals that the shoes Lisa gave him allowed him to get a spot on the show and he got a lot of money for it. He gives Lisa the ransom money to save Homer.

Trivia

• Ronaldo looks and sounds like Pepi. They are both poor orphans. Coincidentally, both are voiced by Tress MacNeille.
