Scotland (Scottish Gaelic: Alba) is a country in Europe and is part of the United Kingdom.

History[]

Mr. Burns recruited Homer, Frink and Willie for a successful mission to Scotland in pursuit of the Loch Ness Monster.[1]

Willie and the Simpsons went to Scotland and meet Willie's brother, Angus. Willie competes in a competition there.[citation needed]

Scotland might have been the anonymous "Old Country" which Abe Simpson claimed to have emigrated from as a child.[2]

After encountering Willie while stealing grease from Springfield Elementary, Homer and Bart pretended to be exchange students from a fictitious "North Kilttown" in Scotland.[3]

Homer, Mr. Burns, Willie, and Professor Frink visit Loch Ness in the Scottish Highlands to capture the Loch Ness Monster.[4]

When giving testimony in court, Homer claimed that his memory was "hazy". The Blue-Haired Lawyer responded with the question "Hazy like the moors of Scotland?", pointing to Willie who'd been wrongly arrested for stealing Homer's car.[5]

When Bart and Lisa become best friends after Milhouse leaves for Capital City with his mother, Willie claims it will not last as brother and sister are natural enemies. Like Englishmen and Scots, or Welshmen and Scots, or Japanese and Scots, or Scots and other Scots. Damn Scots! They ruined Scotland![6]
