Scott Bakula is an actor whose roles include Dwayne Pride from NCIS: New Orleans as well as Sam Beckett from Quantum Leap.
Biography[]
Largely because of Lenny Leonard writing in his own blood the initials "SB" of who had been responsible for a string of Christmas gift thefts that were occurring at the time, Chief Wiggum had arrested Scott Bakula due to being a suspect (presumably while the latter had been about to leave for filming NCIS: New Orleans, based on his complaints to Chief Wiggum).
After Homer Simpson called and claimed that Selma Bouvier was the culprit, Wiggum had Scott Bakula, alongside Sandra Bullock and Steve Ballmer (who both had been arrested for the same reason) released. Scott Bakula, however, was understandably irritated with Wiggum and told him off, citing he could have been back at the filming for NCIS: New Orleans two hours earlier had Wiggum not arrested him. Wiggum then jokingly suggested that he could "Quantum Leap" there, only for Bakula to bluntly tell him he should learn to do his job as Police Chief while derisively referring to him as "fatso" before leaving.
