Season 30

Season 30 is the thirtieth season of The Simpsons that will premiere on September 30, 2018.

Season 30 was announced when the show had been renewed for Seasons 29 and 30[1].

As of September 10th, the Bob's Burgers/Simpsons crossover couch gag will now be for Season 30 instead of Season 29.[2]

One episode held a singing session with Yeardley Smith.[3]

Megan Amram has written two episodes for this season that will air in 2019: "Bart vs. Itchy & Scratchy" and an unknown episode.[4]

There will be a satire of The Amazing Race, in which Homer and Marge go on the show, but they immediately lose.

During the panel at San Diego Comic Con 2018, new guest stars for the season were announced, including Emily Deschanel, Dave Attell, Guillermo del Toro, Pete Holmes, Jon Lovitz, J. K. Simmons, Patti Lupone, and Ted Sarandos.[5] Gal Gadot had previously been announced as guest starring in the season.[6]
