Siegfried Blaze is the burn-master general at the Springfield Firehouse.
History[]
When Homer was reported for possessing contraband of a lowbrow nature, the firemen broke in his house to arrest him. Siegfried Blaze accompanies them and tells Homer that he is disappointed in them, explaining that they are setting fires for the good of humanity. He learned long ago that entertainment must fully engage the consciousness of the populace and that provocative shows serve as a perfect distraction from the increasingly dystopian reality of their society. He subsequently ordered that Homer be taken away to re-do his education, but Homer releases himself to get away from them.
After getting away from them and arriving at the Android's Dungeon, Homer enters the secret room and is thrilled to find numerous copies of various lowbrow media to watch. However, Siegfried Blaze and the arsonist break in through the roof, having been led to the hideout by Homer. Homer and the other fugitives run away from them while they're distracted, setting everything on fire.
Behind the Laughter[]
