The Simpsons Store App is a free program from Simpsons Comics that is available for Apple devices running iOS, released on July 6, 2015.[1] It appears to replace the Simpsons Comics App that was released on July 12, 2012.
The program allows users to purchase digital versions of current and past issues of the various Simpsons comics. The comics include the following:
- Bart Simpson (Comic Book Series)
- Simpsons Comics
- Simpsons Super Spectacular
As of August 9, 2015, the release schedule is two issues per week, with the issues available being random as to whether they are a current or a past issue. For example, the July 22, 2015 comics offered were Bart Simpson #22 and Simpsons Comics #214. The most recent versions of those comics are #97 and #222, respectively.
Purchased are stored on the Apple servers and will automatically sync across multiple devices.
