Plot: Bart tells a sleepy Homer the story of ''TRON: Legacy''. Bart (Sam Flynn) is searching for his lost father, Homer (Kevin Flynn). He receives a page from the Noiseland Arcade. Bart finds an old computer and fater booting it up, he is downloaded into Homer's digital world called the Trout (the Grid). Bart is selected for games and is given an identity donut (identity disc). Bart fights in the Donut Wars (Disc Wars) where he fights Nelson (Rinzler). Nelson finds out that Bart is not from the Trout and is taken to see Blu (Clu), a digital copy of Homer. Blu nearly kills Bart in a Light Skateboard (Light Cycle) battle. Bart is rescued by Lisa (Quorra) who takes him to the ''real'' Homer. He reveals that the portal through which Bart entered is open for eight hours and that Blu needs Homer's identity donut so his army can invade the real world. He also tells Bart that he created a program which he named Bart (Tron), after his son. He also created Blu to create the perfect system. Blu betrayed them and seemingly killed Bart. The portal closed on Homer, trapping him inside the Trout, but when Bart entered, it was opened. As it turns out, Lisa is the last of an incredibly special program, which Blu killed off. Lisa tells Bart that to destroy Blu, Homer would have to re-ingrediate with him, but it would destroy both of them. Bart is taken to see Moe (Zuse/Castor), the owner of Moe's Tavern (End of Line Club) who decides to help get Bart, Homer and Lisa to the portal. However, Moe betrays Bart to Blu's guards. Homer and Lisa rescue Bart, but Lisa is injured and Homer's identity donut is stolen. Moe gives the donut to Blu who then blows him up. Homer and Bart fix up Lisa. Blu's warship captures them. Lisa allows herself to be taken prisoner by Nelson who turns out to be a brainwashed Bart. The group reclaim Lisa and Homer's donut and escape in a Light Fighter. Blu, Nelson and the guards give chase. The guards are destroyed. Homer briefly talks to Nelson, convincing him to change back into Bart. Bart rams his jet into Blu, incapacitating him. The group gets to the portal, where Blu is waiting for them. Blu and Homer fight. Blu takes Homers donut, only to find out that Homer had switched donuts with Lisa. Blu and Homer re-ingrediate, combining their components and destroying them both. Lisa and Bart reach the real world. The story cuts back to a now sleeping Homer. Milhouse goes skateboarding with Bart, only to realize that Bart now has a Light Skateboard.

Using this, he unintentionally finds out that it was Bart who has been prank-calling him all along. Moe finds out that he has is not the only bartender being prank-called. He contacts all the bartenders that Bart has prank-called, including the ones from Lost Verizon. The group attacks Bart at the school marathon and try to kill him, but Bart escapes using Skinner's car. The bartenders give chase on motorbikes (while wielding butcher knives) but Bart destroys half the bartenders. Bart escapes to the nearest government building (bartenders attack him on the way) and seeks an audience. He asks what he can do stop the bartenders from killing him. They fail to give him advice, so they direct him to a fortune teller in Egypt. While on the journey, he is attacked by more angry bartenders and manages to slay the bunch, including the ones from Lost Verizon. When he gets to the fortune teller, the fortune teller requires him to lost a toe in order to see his fortune. The fortune teller gives him two: one where he apologizes to the bartenders and the rampage ends, and one where the bartenders get their revenge and kill him. Bart travels back to Springfield and after a battle with Moe, he finally apologizes to the bartenders.
