Final Sky One logo (2020-2021)
Sky One was a British digital satellite television broadcasting channel that broadcasts numerous episodes of The Simpsons every day since September 1990. It is operated by Sky plc, and it usually broadcasts them before any other British TV channel (digital satellite, terrestrial and cable) and has recently started to get episodes four years before other channels in the United Kingdom (such as Channel 4, which had both only started broadcasting Season 28 episodes on 2nd and 16th November 2020 respectively). The first episode shown on Sky was the final episode of the 1st season ''Some Enchanted Evening,'' considering it was made as the first episode being produced, not the first episode being shown.
Sky One has also had an episode broadcasted before any other channel in the world. "In the Name of the Grandfather" was aired on Saint Patrick's Day 2009, before it was broadcasted in the United States.
In September 2021, the channel was replaced by Sky Showcase and Sky Max. Currently, the broadcasts of The Simpsons have now been taking place on Sky Showcase.
The Simpsons 20th Anniversary[]
In January 2010, the 20th anniversary of The Simpsons was a big year for Sky One. They had released a few behind the scenes episodes as well as getting many celebrities to talk about the show in the adverts.
Sky One also released an Itchy and Scratchy episode ident called "Slaughter is the Best Medicine"
Censorship[]
Similar to BBC and Channel 4, Sky Showcase has edited The Simpsons for content that may be inappropriate for younger and more sensitive viewers, though some edits done are cuts to make room for commercial breaks, similar to how The Simpsons used to run on free-TV American syndication in the 1990s and 2000s (though some FXX reruns do edit The Simpsons for time reasons, often during afternoon viewings and marathons).
As with the Channel 4 page, this is not a definitive list of all the episodes that have been edited, as the show is still running in America and most episodes have yet to be reported for cuts. A full list of all the cuts made on both Sky Showcase and Channel 4 (as well as BBC, Canada's Global channel, and cuts made in America on FOX and in syndication) can be found here.

- The Itchy & Scratchy Movie billboard spraying blood onto a newlywed couple (with them laughing it off) was cut, as was the later scene where the Itchy and Scratchy movie billboard gets changed to a billboard for the Springfield Barber College (and keeps in the blood spraying mechanic). Both scenes were later reinstated.
- The scene in Steamboat Itchy where Scratchy crawls into a furnace and Itchy slams his face inside was initially cut, but later reinstated.
- The World War II cartoon where Itchy and Scratchy attack Adolf Hitler was shortened to remove the duo decapitating Hitler, then Itchy decapitating Scratchy while Franklin Delano Roosevelt kicks Hitler's and Scratchy's headless corpses while Itchy holds up a sign that reads, "Save Scrap Iron". Later airings edited the same scene by cutting the random man's line down to, "Thanks for poisoning the planet!", but left in Mindy saying, "Get bent!".

Homer Badman[]
Though this episode is the first one to be rated 12 due to its sexual violence theme (Homer getting accused of sexually molesting a college-aged babysitter and Groundskeeper Willie clearing Homer's name by admitting to being a voyeur who videotapes people without their consent or knowledge), Sky Showcase rarely aired this episode. One of the rare times this episode aired on the channel (between the late 1990s and the early 2000s), the following scenes were cut:
- Homer's line, "Aw crap!" when his interview on "Rock Bottom" is titled "Babysitter and the Beast".

All these edited scenes and lines have since been reinstated.

- Homer beating up the terrorists was shortened to remove bloodshed. The scene now airs uncut.

- Ned giving Todd a shotgun and saying he wants Todd to shoot him if he tries to get back in the bomb shelter (with Todd crying as he loads the shotgun) was cut. The scene has now been reinstated.

The scene now airs uncut.
The Cartridge Family[]
- Just like "The City of New York vs. Homer Simpson", this episode was banned by Sky Showcase until 2005, only this episode was banned as it aired around the time of the Dunblane school massacre and the UK's censors objected to the scenes of dangerous and irresponsible gunplay.
Bart Star[]
- Bart playing the video game Cat Fight was edited to remove the female video game characters pulling each others' hair and the use of the word "slut". Contrast with Channel 4, which cut the misogynistic slurs "slut" and "skank," but left in the hair-pulling and other violence.
