Skywalker Sound is a sound effects, sound editing, sound design, sound mixing and music recording division of Lucasfilm, founded on September 7, 1975 (as Sprocket Systems until 1987) by George Lucas. It has been a post production audio facility for The Simpsons (since 1991 until 1994) and its theatrical feature film.
