Snuffy was a male hamster owned by Lisa. He died of an unknown cause. He was first mentioned in a poem called “Meditations on Turning Eight”, by Lisa, but was interrupted by Homer during her recital.

Trivia

• According to "Lisa's Lifeline" in The Lisa Book, Lisa experienced her first tragedy at age four, when her pet hamster died in a freak garbage disposal accident. It could be possible that Snuffy was that same hamster.
