The Spotlight couch gag is the eleventh couch gag of Season 12.
Plot[]
The couch is outside a prison wall. A siren wails and a searchlight moves as The Simpsons (dressed in striped prison jumpsuits) tunnel their way to the couch.
Trivia[]
- Much like the couch gag on "Homer vs. Dignity" (where the family skateboard off a ramp, but Homer falls and gets hit with his own skateboard), this also was used twice in two season 12 episodes ("New Kids on the Blecch" and "A Hunka Hunka Burns in Love"). However, "A Hunka Hunka Burns in Love" was a season 12 holdover episode that ended up airing during season 13. Because of this, the skate ramp couch gag is the only couch gag to be used twice in season 12.
